Baldur's Gate 3 unveiled a tall, literally red-hot Tiefling woman called Karlach who's ready to kick ass in a ragged barbarian outfit, so, of course, the internet is in love. She'll be a party member or protagonist option when the game launches out of early access on August 3, but in the meantime, there are plenty of posts excitedly simping over her and just as much fan art to match.

"hello???? buff tiefling lady karlach???? HELLO???", Gayming Magazine editor-in-chief Aimee Hart excitedly tweeted following the reveal.

"attention all disaster bisexuals," @mollygos tweeted. "meet Karlach". Attached is a quote from Larian writer Sarah Baylus that says, "[Karlach would] roll in on a Harley with shades and a cigar between her teeth, blaring Sabbath - a diesel-soaked dynamo with a heart of gold. She seeks justice for the oppressed, camaraderie, and revenge on the bastard who sold her to Hell."

Karlach is a protagonist which means you can play as her... but then you can't romance her, and PlayStation teased that "you may see different romance scenes for several of these characters during your replays."

It might be a better idea to set your first playthrough up with a completely original character to get the full experience of awkwardly flirting with a woman who has gotten used to being called 'devil', and who PlayStation says "could destroy anything she touches, and that includes you." Emphasis on the awkward then, yeah?

"karlach baldurs gate 3 if youre free this thursday i am free this thursday--", @crankigay tweeted.

"WOOF WOOF BARK", @umbrabrae tweeted. Don't worry, we've all been there.

Unfortunately, if you're on PlayStation, you'll have to wait a little longer to romance Karlach since it won't launch until September 6. And for those on Xbox, there's currently no date as Larian is working to ensure the game runs well on Series S. But for PC players, there's only a month to go before you can fumble the bag with Karlach for real.
