Who doesn't love special edition gaming accessories featuring their favourite video game characters? It's a neat little tribute to your favourite video game characters, and also makes your accessories stand out from the standard colour options. With that in mind, Sega has partnered with video game accessories brand, PowerA, to launch a line of Sonic the Hedgehog branded gaming accessories.
The launch products include a wired Xbox Series X|S controller, a wired Nintendo Switch controller, and a Protective Cover for the Nintendo Switch; with more products to be announced soon. All three products are made by PowerA and feature Sonic the Hedgehog branding on them, in a flash of blue and yellow.
The Xbox Series X|S controller features a blue checkered design with stars, and Sonic in the left corner. The Nintendo Switch controller shows Sonic in motion on a blue background, with flashes of yellow around him. And, the Nintendo Switch Protective Cover shows a side view of Sonic in full speed, with his feet almost making an infinity symbol, along with the yellow flashes.
These look absolutely great on their own, but fans of the Blue Blur will absolutely love these special edition accessories. Unlike most collaborations of this kind, the Sonic the Hedgehog X PowerA accessories don't cost all that much. You can pick up the Xbox Series X|S controller for $39.99, the Switch controller for $29.99, and the Switch Protective Cover for Price $19.99, all at the PowerA website, and coming soon to other retailers as well.
Along with those three, the website also features a Sonic the Hedgehog branded TriFold Game Card Holder for the Nintendo Switch, which will undoubtedly remind you of the velcro wallet you had in during your childhood.
