The paraglider was an iconic addition to Breath of the Wild, and the function has returned again in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to keep our hero sailing through the skies over Hyrule. Since this task is more important now than it was in the prequel, you’ll find yourself using your paraglider fairly often, so why not customize it to suit your own style?
New paraglider fabrics are available in a number of ways, and the place you change them is both central and iconic. Here’s where to find all Paraglider fabrics in Tears of the Kingdom.
Updated on August 6, 2023: Now that we've had more time in Tears of the Kingdom, we've come back to our guide on all Paraglider fabric locations in TOTK. We've updated our guide to include photos of all Paraglider fabric options, as well as some new links to help you find everything.
This guide contains spoilers for events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Change The Paraglider Fabric
You may be familiar with the Kochi Dye Shop that's located in Hateno Village, as it's where you went in Breath of the Wild to recolor your armor.
The same recoloring services can be performed again in Tears of the Kingdom, but a new draw of Kochi Dye Shop for this game is that you're also able to change your Paraglider fabric by visiting the shop.
Once inside, speak to Sayge, the owner, and listen to his spiel about their services in exchange for a free Cece Fabric pattern.
To change your Paraglider fabric, speak to Sayge again and select the "Rework the Paraglider" option.
This will cost 20 Rupees to complete, and you need to have a fabric to change into - Sayge won't give you more than just the one.
While you'll simply find most fabrics, you can find new Paraglider fabrics by showing Sayge photos of animals and enemies found around Hyrule.
He gives you a request for a Chuchu photo immediately, and upon returning to him with it, you'll unlock a list of requests. We'll detail them below.
As soon as Sayge has finished working, you'll be rocketed out of the top of the shop for an immediate demonstration of your newly-redesigned paraglider in action.

---|---|---|---|
Aerocuda Fabric | Circling in the air above enemy encampments around Hyrule | Aerocudas can be tricky to hit, but they're easier to get a clean shot of if they notice you, as they'll begin to get closer. Additionally, they may also be carrying other enemies, so watch out for what they've got in their claws. | |
In The Depths, also typically around enemy camps | |||
Outside of The Wind Temple | |||
Chuchu Fabric | Plains throughout Hyrule Field | We've only done this with a regular Chuchu, but these are plentiful all around Hyrule, specifically in grassy areas in Central Hyrule and Lanayru. | |
Cucco Fabric | Scattered around Kakariko Village or outside of Stables | These are just a few places to find Cuccos in Tears of the Kingdom - anywhere there's a farm, there's likely to be Cuccos. | |
On the "Follow the Cuccos" side quest | |||
With Robbie after upgrading the Purah Pad in Hateno Village | |||
Eldin-Ostrich Fabric | Running around Death Mountain | These birds are large and typically are out in groups. They drop Raw Meat when hunted, but be sure to snag your photo first, as you need it alive for the shot to count. | |
In groups around the Eldin Mountains | |||
On mid-sized small Sky Islands over the Eldin region | |||
Gleeok Fabric | In Tabantha as part of the "Zelda's Golden Horse" side adventure | These Gleeoks are all of different elements, so check out our guide to fighting Gleeoks if you need some help. You can also photograph it from afar and leave; you aren't required to fight a Gleeok in order to photograph it. | |
Guarding the Lake Hylia bridge | |||
In the Akkala Citadel Ruins | |||
Grizzlemaw-Bear Fabric | In the Gerudo Highlands | Grizzlemaw Bears are large and gray, and relatively easy to spot running around off the beaten path in the natural areas in these two regions. They will charge you if they notice you, though, so be careful. | |
In the Hebra Mountains | |||
Horse Fabric | Any Stable around Hyrule | The photo can be of absolutely any horse - your own, a merchant's, an enemy's, etc. | |
Open plain areas around Hyrule | |||
Any of the special horses in Tears of the Kingdom | |||
Lynel Fabric | Upland Lindor, between the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower and Tanagar Canyon if you fly Northwest | Lynels can be a fearsome foe if you're not prepared to take them on, and the color of their manes denotes their difficulty level. If you're not confident with combat, take a photo from a distance and head out. | |
The Southern part of Kincean Island in the Lanayru Wetlands | |||
Risoka Snowfield, Northeast from the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, East of Gerudo Summit | |||
Stalnox Fabric | The chasm in one of the eyes comprising Skull Lake in North Akkala | Stalnox typically appear in caves surrounded by other Stal enemies. Like their living counterparts, Hinox, Stalnox are best handled if you shoot them in the eye to stun them. | |
