There are many bosses in Remnant 2, both in the main story and optional dungeons. Legion is one of those that are waiting in a dungeon. More specifically, they're set up in The Twisted Chantry. It's a unique creature, as it's basically one giant circle as well as a set of rags on a throne.

Like most bosses in the game, they're incredibly tough to bring down. Don't worry, though, as beating this boss is doable for the average player. You just need to know their attacks and how to hurt them. All of that information is in this guide, so soak it in before taking on the oversized circle.

Legion's Attacks

Legion can hurt you in multiple ways. So, you must be prepared for anything they can dish out, such as the following attacks:

Attack

How To Defend Against It

Red Pulse

This is the boss's most dangerous attack, as it does significant damage and brings nearby enemies back to life. However, you can simply roll as it's just about to hit you to avoid all damage. To do this, though, you have to be ready. So, keep looking back at the throne, as it'll build up red energy before the pulse is unleashed.

Circle Glow

Throughout most of the battle, the large circle will glow. While looking directly at it, your madness meter will begin to fill up. If it fills completely, you will be significantly hampered. Therefore, avoid looking directly at the boss for long periods. Definitely don't look at it if you aren't shooting it.

Red Orbs

Sometimes, Legion fires small red orbs at you that do damage if they hit. Thankfully, they're fairly slow, so you can often dodge them rather easily if you're paying attention.

Regular Enemy Attacks

It isn't just Legion who's a threat during this battle. The boss also has a litany of regular enemies helping them out. While they shouldn't be your sole focus, you can't completely ignore them, either, as they can overwhelm you. So, make sure to regularly thin the horde and pay the most attention to the red enemies as they will explode.

How To Defeat Legion

There isn't a litany of different tricks to damage Legion. You simply need to shoot the boss. Yet, where and when you shoot it is key.

As dangerous as it sounds, you need to fire at the large circle while it's glowing red. This means your madness meter will be filling up, so don't continually attack for long periods.

Hit the boss multiple times until your meter starts to fill, then look away. Standing behind a pillar can help, as you can regularly peak out to get some shots off, before going behind it again to let your madness meter deplete.

You can shoot at it when it's not glowing or fire shots at the throne, but neither of those things do as much damage. It's better to wait while it's glowing, and in the meantime, take out the regular enemies that are spawning.
