These Mutators are really helpful for improving your character's strengths and boosting stats that might be lacking. There's a wide variety of Mutators to choose from, which opens up many different build options and significantly speeds up the pace of combat. The Twisting Wounds Mutator has grabbed the attention of many because of how useful it can be in battles.
Where To Find The Twisting Wounds Mutator
The Twisting Wounds Mutator can be obtained by defeating a particular boss in Losomn.
However, this boss doesn't appear in a fixed spot; it spawns randomly. That means, to acquire this potent Mutator, you may need to invest some time rerolling Losomn.
The boss you're after is named Gorge. It can randomly appear in one of two places:
- Butcher's Quarter
- Cotton's Kiln
These locations are usually situated in Morrow Parish, Ironborough, or Brocwithe Quarter.
Unfortunately, there's no way to guarantee its presence. You'll have to thoroughly explore every nook and cranny of these spots.
To make things a little easier for you, search for an entrance that looks like the one in the picture.
Once you locate it, you'll find a sewer entrance that leads to the area where you'll face Gorge.
Just follow the path through the sewers until you reach a wheel level. But before you interact with it, get ready, because doing so will trigger the boss fight with Gorge.
After you successfully defeat him, you'll get the Twisting Wounds Mutator. You'll also receive two Corrupted Lumenite Crystals, a Relic Fragment, and some Scrap.
Twisting Wounds Mutator Overview
The Twisting Wounds Mutator is a Ranged Mutator that can be equipped on Long Guns and Handguns. Once it is equipped, it provides a ten percent Ranged damage to Bleeding enemies.
Since Bleeding is already powerful within the game, the Twisting Wounds Mutator accelerates the demise of bled enemies. This Mutator is especially effective for Bleed-focused builds.
This proves useful during boss fights, where you can apply the Bleed effect and then swiftly switch to the weapon equipped with this Mutator to deplete the boss's health.
To upgrade the Twisting Wounds Mutator, visit Dwell in Ward 13, with the option to upgrade up to ten times.
