Ken has always been paired with Barbie, but in reality, being Ken is just a state of mind. It doesn't matter if they have a Barbie, because Ken on his own is Kenough. But for now, we know Ken as just Ken—a guy defined by the beach, diversity, and horses... probably.

There are a lot of video game guys who have the honorary title of himbo in their respective games, but Ken is more than that. He loves working out and hanging out with other Kens, but most importantly—he's the kind of guy who'll always have your back.

10 Itto - Genshin Impact

Arataki Itto taunting the camera with his claymore in Genshin Impact

Arataki Itto from Genshin Impact doesn't have a Barbie and doesn't ride horses, but he's definitely a Ken. The Arataki Gang is just composed of a bunch of Allans who love Itto, except Kuki Shinobu, who's kind of the Barbie of the group. She's notably smart and has a degree in law, and she keeps the group out of trouble, which is why Itto appreciates and praises Kuki a lot as a valued member of the gang.

He might not be a horse rider, but he has a pet cow he throws at enemies. Just like Ken, he loves having fun but doesn't think things through.

9 Skrim - Farkas

Skyrim character Farkas with his arms crossed looking at the player.

Skyrim's Farkas is Ken if he was a Nord. There aren't a lot of beaches around, but he sure can ride horses with you as you traverse the lands of Tamriel. He's not the smartest person around and gets clowned for his intelligence even in the game, but he's strong and kindhearted.

If you choose to be his Barbie by offering up an Amulet of Mara, he'll be an outstanding supporter and open up a buy-and-sell shop for you. He'll address you endearingly after you get together, but he pretty much just hangs around the house with you—the way Ken wishes he could with Barbie if every day wasn't always girl's night.

8 Arthur Morgan - Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Arthur Morgan looks ahead as he aims his revolver in a sunny interior

Arthur Morgan is what Ken could be if he matures and Barbieland becomes the Wild West. It did become Ken Land for a while, but being in the United States during 1899, where cowboys and gangs were all the rage, is different from Ken Land. Nevertheless, it wouldn't be surprising if Ken played Red Dead Redemption and got his outfit inspiration from the game.

Arthur loves horses too, and in his words, he'd live and die for his loved ones. He also represents positive masculinity that Ken could potentially embody if he gets to know himself better. If only Arthur could live a life as carefree and happy as Ken's, but he's what Ken is if he was thrust into the real world during a turbulent time.

7 Jackie Welles - Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Jackie Welles

Your first encounter with Jackie depends on the path you've chosen from Cyberpunk 2077, but he's definitely Ken as a Street Kid. Your introduction might've been unpleasant, but hang out with him a little more, and you'll realize that he's a great friend who loves his family a lot—but he gets himself in lots of trouble like Ken.

Maybe in another life where Jackie didn't have to grow up under the darkness of Night City, he would've loved the beach and even got his own Mojo Dojo Casa House with everybody he loves in it. It's too late for that because this Ken's story was dark—nevertheless, Jackie was just as much of a dreamer as Ken.

6 Dante - Devil May Cry

Dante in a cutscene from DMC 5

This Ken from Devil May Cry is a demon hunter. Under a vibe check, Dante's Ken is like Simu Liu's Ken—he's confident and always feels in control of the situation. He doesn't appear desperate to impress Barbie and appears cool and even threatening in the eyes of other Kens.

If there's one thing for sure, Dante could beach any demon off while tossing a few witty lines at them. He's usually not a threat to anybody else but the demons he's about to kill, and beneath his cool and callous exterior, he's actually compassionate.

5 Snow Villiers - Final Fantasy 13

Snow getting ready to throw down in FFXIII

This Ken lost his Barbie, and that led him to life-changing and traumatic adventures. Needless to say, Snow is a character who is easy to be with. He's friendly, optimistic, and he loves Serah and would follow her to the ends of the world. But unlike Ken, he doesn't really get jealous if Serah hangs out –or fights with– other guys.

Even after Snow went into dark mode because of all his losses, he remained kind at heart with the desire to protect humanity from chaos. The closest we saw Ken going into villain mode was when he discovered the real world, but at least both he and Snow eventually snapped out of it.

4 Dimitri - Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Dimitri from Fire Emblem Introduction

If you've grown up watching the Barbie movies, Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses would remind you of Ken playing a prince in any of the Barbie animated movies. The common denominator among those Kens is that they'll always be more than willing to lend Barbie a hand through tough times and work with her as a team.

Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is definitely not Ken from the Barbie movie, but he's pretty much every other princely rendition of Ken from Barbie in The Nutcracker or Barbie as The Princess and The Pauper.

3 Avad - Horizon Zero Dawn

Avad from Horizon: Zero Dawn meeting with Aloy

Everybody, even those who don't play Horizon Zero Dawn would know about Aloy. Who most people don't know about is Avad, who became Sun-King after deposing his tyrannical father. Despite having done that, all would agree that Avad is a gentle soul who prefers diplomacy over bloodshed.

He also admires Aloy a lot and wants to be with her. He even wishes to cede the throne to his younger brother when he comes of age to travel the world, hopefully to accompany Aloy in one of her adventures. But Aloy, just like Barbie, has a lot of plans and places to explore—and Avad accepts that much better than Ken.

2 Resident Evil - Leon Kennedy

Leon Kennedy holding a large knife in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Everybody loves Leon Kennedy, but he's also the kind of guy who you'd expect to say, "I'll beach you off" to somebody who talks too much. That's if he doesn't cut them off in the middle of their dialogue to shoot them like he did with Ramon. It also doesn't help that he looks a lot like Ryan Gosling's Ken, but that's beside the point.

The only difference between him and Ken is that his Barbie always puts him against the edge of a blade. Not the healthiest relationship with Ada, but he's always willing to help her out, even to his detriment.

1 Luka - Bayonetta

Luka from Bayonetta 3

Luka is the video game world's Ken. Bayonetta is everything and is perfect at everything she does, and he's just Luka. It's implied that he exists in every universe that Bayonetta is in, and he's always there to support her all the same. Even his counterpart in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza And The Lost Demon gets saved by Bayonetta; he doesn't do much but guide her to him.

He also dresses the part of a cowboy that would ride horses the way Ken would, and he often fails to stick the landing to his dramatic entrances like Ken. But you got to love him for being a kind and silly guy who does everything to help his lead girl out.
