We've seen Elden Ring played in some pretty wild ways before, but for those of us watching from home, it doesn't get much more pleasant than this. Twitch streamer Perrikaryal has just figured out how to play FromSoft's latest game with her voice, hitting different notes to perform certain actions.

The end result is a beautiful melody that blends so seamlessly together that it could pass as the soundtrack for the game itself. Perrikaryal said the run makes her feel like a siren, and it's very easy to see why. But what's just as impressive is how well she's doing despite this unique way of playing. Many of us would struggle to play normally, let alone get through the Lands Between while keeping a tune.

As you can see in the highlight shared on Twitter, Perri is able to land a bunch of blows and time those all-important dodge roles. It's well worth checking out the full stream though, as seeing her carefully map each control to different notes is satisfying in itself - and incredibly dedicated.

It seems like Perri plans to keep working at her Elden Ring singing runs, so who knows? Maybe this will become a widespread challenge run in the future. We already have fans playing without taking any damage, on a dance mat, and on two different screens at one... while on a dance mat. With that in mind, this new vocal-based run will almost definitely appeal to a bunch of fans in the community - as long as they can reliably hit all the notes.

This isn't actually Perri's first go at Elden Ring challenge runs. She previously beat the game with her EEG controller, essentially letting her control the game with her mind. This worked by mapping different abilities and commands to brain activity, basically meaning if she wanted to do something, all she'd have to do is think about it. Presumably, this would require a hell of a lot of focus though - what if you're panicking and your thoughts are all over the place? That sounds like a quick way to spam a bunch of abilities with no strategy in mind. If you play like me, anyway.

Bandai Namco was already impressed with Perri's EEG run, so she'll probably blow its mind with this new way to play too. In any case, best of luck Perri - keep making us look bad!
