We're all well-acquainted with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by now, which means you'll know that the game lets you carve out a little slice of Hyrule just for yourself. If you head on over to Tarrey Town, you'll find that you can build your own dream house by sticking a whole bunch of different blocks together. You can make some truly impressive properties with this ability, though you'll struggle to find a house as grand as this one that someone has managed to lift and suspend in the air.

First shared to the Hyrule Engineering subreddit by u/fghhjjjiiioooop, a suprisingly simple method of getting your potential abode airborne has been discovered, and all it involves is a handful of Zonai rockets and hover stones. You can see how they manage it in the Reddit video embedded below, but the player also thankfully answers some more questions about how to pull this off in the replies.

It seems as though getting the house airborne is as simple as setting off the contraption, though the prep work seems to be a little more complicated. First, you'll need to actually create the contraption before you go about building your house in order to circumvent the game's bond limit. If you want a house with the maximum amount of rooms, you'll need to glue together 10 rockets and 10 hover stones outside of the house building area.

Next up, you'll need to build your desired house, ensuring that there's a hook at the top for the rocket hoverstone contraption to hit so it can drag the house up when it's activated. You'll need to ensure that you launch your platform from at least one story up, otherwise it will be flagged by Granteson and won't work. You also need to make sure it isn't higher than one story, as any higher and your house will be deleted as it will exit the building boundary.

Once you're ready, set off the contraption like the player does in the video and confirm it with Granteson and your house will be locked in place in the air. Unfortunately, the one downside of having your own sky island is that it's pretty difficult to get into. It seems like you can't place down a Travel Medallion inside the house, so you'll either need to skydive down onto it or use Recall and a hover stone once you're actually in there like the player does. Hey, at least you won't have to deal with any burglars.
