Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have a couple of expanions coming out soon, those being The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, which will make up the Treasures of Area Zero DLC. Nintendo and Game Freak gave us a much better look at what to expect from both of them during its latest Pokemon Presents showcase, including new characters, new features like gym leader rematches and minigames, as well a few new Pokemon reveals. However, one of these Pokemon is drawing a lot more attention than the others.

It was only shown off in the trailer for the briefest of moments, but a new Paradox form for Raikou was revealed called Raging Bolt. It's a little bit different, and that's putting it pretty mildly. It's main feature is its long, goofy neck, which has seemingly been done so that Raikou now resembles a Brachiosaurus. Suicune underwent a similar transformation earlier this year, changing from a graceful dog into a hulking T-Rex shaped creature called Walking Wake.

It's so goofy that Pokemon fans have immediately gone about bullying the poor creature for its new form, quickly drawing up all kinds of silly fan art and memes ripping on its absurdly long neck. Even though it's been designed after a Brachiosaurus to fit the whole dinosaur theme Scarlet & Violet is going for, loads of people are saying it looks more like giraffe than anything else, poking fun at the fact Raging Bolt looks more like an experiment between a Raikou and Girafarig gone horribly wrong.

Other people have been pointing out that the cloud around its head in its official art makes it look like it's just come back from the vets, though there are quite a few people who are great admirers of Raging Bolt and his goofy new look. I don't quite see it myself, but it's a Pokemon so therefore someone out there has to love it. All I know is that Entei is probably sweating real hard right about now.

Raging Bolt wasn't the only new Pokemon we saw during the show though, as we also got to see an adorable new candy apple form for Applin called Dipplin, as well as an evolution for Duraludon called Archuladon that seems to have taken inspiration from the Golden Gate Bridge.
