Fortnite just announced a new crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen, an anime set in a world where Cursed Spirits feed on humans. Luckily, a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers pledge to protect the living from the supernatural. Only in Fortnite, we're chasing Cursed Llamas that drop the Straw Doll Technique or Hollow Technique: Purple.

HTP is a magical technique that merges the Blue and Red infinities to unleash an imaginary mass that destroys everything in its path. Safe to say, it's overpowered. The Straw Doll technique meanwhile allows its user to summon magical blue nails imbued with cursed energy to fire at enemies. We can see both in action in the new "Break the Curse!" trailer embedded below.

The crossover includes four main characters, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushigoro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo. You can also unlock a Toad back bling, one of the frog shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique, and a Nue glider, a winged Owl-like shikigami, also of the Ten Shadows Technique. You have 16 days to power through if you want to unlock everything in the Jujutsu Kaisen crossover. And as per usual, the premium version of the event pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks.

Cursed Llamas look a little different to their usual pinata counterparts. They're red and black with a giant transparent blue flame consuming them, but it isn't just wandering cursed loot boxes you have to contend with on the island now, as the trailer also gives us a glimpse at some Cursed Spirits. There's one with a giant wrangling tongue and another with a hand for a head, both seemingly defending the llama. It looks like we'll have to fend off the supernatural to get the overpowered goodies.

The Cursed Llamas have been hiding in plain sight since the start of the season, but a Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration wasn't confirmed until last week. As highlighted by FNAssist on Twitter, key art showed the red and black llamas engulfed in a blue flame, once clear as day and again in a background shot. Now we finally know what they are.

If you purchase the premium track of the event battle pass, you'll immediately get Yuji Itadori's streetwear outfit, while you have to progress via quests to get his standard version. Others are up for grabs in the item shop, while the Nue glider requires five tokens to unlock.

The event is running until August 25 at 2 am ET, so there's plenty of time to get everything.
