You’ve reached the end of Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, and there’s only one thing standing between you and the end credits: Grace’s trial for the murder of Calliope, the previous Last Muse. You’ve made decisions, you’ve formed alliances, and now, it’s time to lay it all on the line.
Athena calls everyone to Old Olympus to watch as you make Grace’s case and Athena decides your fate, but the decisions you’ve made to this point in the game may just be enough to save you from her wrath. Read ahead for our guide to the end of Stray Gods!
As this is the final scene in the game, this guide contains major spoilers for Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
Confront The Gods Before Your Trial
Immediately after the scene in Hades finishes, you're brought back to Grace's Apartment. Grace and Persephone will be there regardless, and Freddie will be with you as well if you gave her your Eidolon.
Apollo is waiting for your return, and amid your dialogue options with him, you and/or Persephone can confront Apollo about the prophecy before he leaves the apartment.
Persephone stays behind, regardless of who you sided with in Act One, and gives you some advice on how to handle Athena before leaving as well.
You'll be sent to the overworld map once again, with the options to Confront Pan, Confront Persephone, Confront Apollo, and Confront Freddie if you passed on your Eidolon.
In all cases, your conversation with them changes depending on who you sided with back in Act One, your decisions in Hades about Freddie's fate and who got the Throne, and Grace's nature either from the first or second act when you chose.
If you're romancing any of these characters, you've got the opportunity to go back on the decision here, and occasionally to make romantic comments as well.
When you've spoken to everyone, you'll have the option to Go to the Auditorium, which segues you from a reprise of Grace's first song (that changes entirely based on your decisions) into her final battle at trial.
Song: "The Trial"
Athena's office is empty when you arrive, but not for long before she and Hermes bring you to Old Olympus, where all the gods and Idols are waiting to attend your trial.
To kick off the trial, Athena tells everyone that the Idols are dying, and you have the chance to ask Athena about her role in all of this, which sees her tell the folks gathered she'll do anything to keep them alive.
If Freddie is alive, Freddie tells Athena she's the new Last Muse instead of Grace to try to stop the trial. If this is the case, Freddie is sentenced to the same fate as Grace. If Freddie stayed in Hades, Grace is on her own, but makes the same accusations.
Either way, this leads to you confronting Athena directly about the prophecy and gives you a chance to hear a bit more of her reasoning before the final song begins.
Throughout "The Trial," Athena takes the lead, singing about the plight of doing the dirty work to keep the Idols alive and hidden from the public. After, the god you have the best relationship with will step in, with who it is dependent upon your choices in alliances and romance so far.
Athena summons The Furies, but before they can get to you, the god who stepped in a moment ago steps in again, and as they're singing, you can choose two others to stand with you. Whoever you choose will sing a bit about what you did for them that convinces them to stand at your side.

Freddie will also be in the group if she's received Grace's Eidolon, but we've not yet seen her willing to sing here.
Finally, Athena seems to repent, and leaves her fate to Grace, meaning you'll get to decide how Grace's Trial pans out.
Based on Grace's choice here, you can either:
- Forgive Athena for what she's done to everyone involved, commiserating with her strife and aware she was only trying to keep everyone safe.
- Punch Athena in the face and exile her for the murder she's committed and the one(s) she's willing to commit during the trial.
- Have Athena step down as Leader of the Chorus, seemingly fully in agreement that it's time someone else took on the role.
The Trial: Aftermath
After the song, Grace (and Freddie, if she's alive) will be waiting in Athena's Office for the other gods to come back from speaking among themselves. In short, The Chorus is being disbanded, and that they're going to reveal the Idols to the public.
You can ask questions about the other characters from the game if you'd like, but then choose either "This is a big step" or "I have some ideas" (as a Clever Grace) to carry on.
The god who stepped up for you during the Trial will then ask for a moment alone with you, and the answers you can give them here depend on Grace's two traits and whether Freddie is alive.
You'll also unlock several trophies or achievements at the end of the scene, related to long-term goals like finishing the game with certain traits or making certain decisions.
Act Three, Two Months Later
At long last, the story's resolution is here in an epilogue scene that brings closure to all loose ends. Naturally, everything you're told in this scene depends on the choices you made, but it's a lovely summary of what's been happening for the Idols so far.
The characters present here give you the opportunity to ask about all the other characters in the game and see what's become of them since the Idols went public. What's said depends on how their stories played out in your playthrough.
If you've romanced someone throughout the game and made it to the end still in good standing with them, they'll also be flirtatious when you ask about what they've been doing, explaining the future they've set up for themselves and Grace.
Once you've asked about anyone you're asking after, choose "That's all I wanted to ask about" to finish things up.
The Final Number
To conclude the game, you've still got one song left to sing. If you romanced someone, they'll ask the group to get a head start on the plans you made together, and you'll sing a romantic number as a happy ending together.
If you didn't end the game in love with someone, or if you romanced someone and then told them their actions were inexcusable, you'll instead have a song with your friends about how life has changed since the beginning of everything.
