Palium is Palia's late-game ore, required to upgrade your tools to Exquisite and to craft some higher-tier furniture. It's located across Bahari Bay, in various caves and on various cliff-sides. We've marked down a Palium farming route on the map below.
This is a sought-after resource which means it might be difficult to find. Thankfully, there are a couple of methods you can use to increase your chances of mining the ore - like changing servers, or even restarting the game. This farming route takes that into account.
Best Places To Mine Palium
Palium is only located in Bahari Bay. There are multiple nodes that spawn in caverns, caves, and on cliff tops, but here's a simple route that you can run repeatedly to farm Palium.
The route begins at Bahari Central Stables. Head to the area we're in on the map marked above (it's a large geyser) and check across the entire area, as there are multiple node spawns here at the base of the geyser, around the edges, and at the top.
Once you've collected the nodes here, you head west towards the Flooded Fortress, marked on the map below.

For the next section of the route, you head south to the alternative cliff face, then into Pavel Mines.
Make sure to check in every corner in the Pavel Mines, including climbing up to the top of the area to get to the nodes that are less likely to have been mined.
Tips For Mining Palium
- Palium is a rare spawn, and takes around an hour of real-life time to respawn in the same instance
- However, you can reset the instance by either rejoining the area from Kilima, fast-traveling, or restarting your game
- You will need at least a Standard Axe to harvest Palium and therefore above a level 6 in mining to actually mine and process the Palium into Palium Bars
